Since 2001, Agostina Bianchi the designer, has been developing her own brand “ Agostina Bianchi”, conceived as designer label: Slow Fashion, Simple Luxury knitwear Design, under procedure of just trade.
“AB” garments identifies a woman as unique, with its special emphasis on femininity and the timeless.
Collections rescue ancestral weaving techniques used by the Toba Indians, combined with semi-manual and semi-industrial fabrics with hand made techniques as crochet and two neddles with reusing leftover yarn production to avoid generating waste in the environment, so generating a product of conscious consumption.
Values such as environmental care, the love for animals that provide the yarn, ethics throughout the production chain and the revaluation of the handmade make the creation of a product with high added value, unique “100% made in Argentina”.
Her collections are presented in international design fairs such as Bread & Butter in Barcelona and Berlin, Rooms in Tokyo, among others, and on the catwalks of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week de New York and Miami Fashion Week with renowned designers and international brands like Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Diane Von Furstenberg, Custo Barcelona, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, among others.
Her designs also have been exhibited in the main windows of the prestigious store Harrods in London. Collezioni Italia magazine also published her designs..
Today Agostina Bianchi, is a leader in the design of knits in Argentina, with a great international projection. Her knits are sold to the world, a product that emphasizes the tactile, visual, emotional senses and make a pledge to treasure.
